NewSCast for Thursday, May 19th

Here we go everyone, I am TheAmazombie, and this is your SC2 NewSCast for Thursday, May 19th.

First we start with the finals of the GSL Team event between Slayers and MVP...and the winner and STILL team champion is Slayers with a 5-4 win over MVP.  Congrats to Slayers for being the first team to win 2 times in a row.

In IPL qualifier action we had battles for seeding in IPL season 2.  First was BratOK over Lalush 2-1, then Merz over Cloud 2-1.  The last match was Lalush over Cloud 2-1.  So here are the qualifier seeds:
1. BratOK
2. Merz
3. Lalush
4. Cloud
5. Cocoa
6. RGIFury
7. Darkforce
and number 8. Strelok.

NASL Division 2 play for tonight:
Ensnare 2-0ed QXC, InControl was not in control as he fell 2-1 to Moman, Sjow went 2-1 over Cruncher, July dominated Darkforce 2-0, and White-Ra went 2-0 over TT1.  Here are the current division 2 standings:
July: 5-1
White-Ra: 5-1
Sjow: 4-2
Ensnare: 3-3
TT1: 3-3
Darkforce: 3-3
Incontrol: 3-3
Cruncher 2-4
Moman 2-4
and bringing it in at 0-6 is QXC.

In player news, we announced yesterday that Liquid'TLO will be playing the StarCraft without Borders" 24-hour event on Sunday, well on Saturday he will be playing community members in TL Attack.  What a workhorse!  Tune into teamliquid.net for more details.
