NewSCast for the Friday, May 20th

Happy Doomsday everybody, I am TheAmazombie and this is your SC2 NewSCast for Friday, May 20th.

The tournament side of things was a little slow today, so I will start with NASL Division 3 play.  First we had the last undefeated player, Strelok, dropping the set 2-1 to DDE.  Next was Squirtle dominating Slush 2-0.  The third match of the night was another dominating performance from Moonglade over the hard-luck Kid Haypro 2-0. KawaiiRaice fell 2-0 to Axslav and the final match of the night was Nada tearing Naniwa apart 2-0.

Here are the current standings for Division 3:
Strelok: 5-1
Squirtle: 5-1
Nada: 4-2
Naniwa: 3-3
Slush: 3-3
Axslav: 3-3
DDE: 3-3
Moonglade: 2-4
Haypro: 1-5
and KawaiRice: 1-5.

With only 3 weeks of divisional action left to play there, at this point Division 3 is looking rather competitive and may end up with some play-off matches.

Coming up tomorrow we have "TL Attack" featuring Liquid'TLO going head to head with community members.  You can find that at 11:00 AM PST over on teamliquid.net.  Also with TLO and also on TL on Sunday morning, starting at 1:00 AM PST, we have the "StarCraft Without Borders" event as TLO will attempt to stream and play StarCraft for 24 hours with all revenue going to "Doctor's Without Borders".  He will be laddering, playing custom games, and even some games with community members, so check that out, support a good cause, and if you think you can beat Liquid'TLO, you may even get the opportunity to do so, so don't miss out.

In player news, caster and Terran player Gretorp has announced his departure from Fnatic.MSI.  He will still be playing at MLG Columbus.  Good luck to you Gretorp.
