StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Saturday, August 13th

Here we go again everyone, I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewS Cast for Saturday, August 13th.

Not a ton of action today, but what there was was quite exciting.  First off we will start with the Blizzard NA Invitational final day.  The matches today in the winner's bracket were Sheth taking on Select and falling to the mighty terran 2-1.  In the loser's bracket then we had Idra over TT1 2-0 and Huk over Kiwikaki 2-1.  This set up the rivalry match of Huk tearing through Idra 2-0.  The Loser's bracket finals with a team-kill as Sheth took down his teammate Huk 2-0.  The grand finals was then set up as a rematch of Select and Sheth.  Sheth won the first bo3 2-1, but as this was a double-elim tourney, that meant that Select got another bo3 and in the end he took the tourney from Sheth 2-1.  Both players though received an invite to Blizzcon.

Also today we had winner's bracket and loser's bracket finals in the IPL season 2 to see who advances to the grand finals.  The match for the upper bracket was White-Ra taking down his protoss friend Mana 3-2 in the bo5 series.  This set up the lower bracket final of Mana and Nerchio.  Just like in yesterday's matches, Nerchio looked unbeatable as he tore through Mana for another 3-2 victory.  This means that the grand finals will be White-Ra vs. Nerchio.

In other news, the Lord of the Lings, Sen, has left Fnatic and officially signed with one of the TeSL teams, the Gamania Bears.  It is a big loss for Fnatic.MSI, but a huge pick up for the TeSL.  Good luck to him, the league, and the team.
