StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Wednesday, June15th

Hello everyone, I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Wednesday, June 15th.

Wow, a ton of player and team news going on the last couple of days, so I will start with that and go quickly:
First we had the announcement of "Team Reign" featuring players such as Kiwikaki, Slush, Spades, and Phoenix.  Then we had the announcement that 4Kings are expanding their StarCraft 2 gaming division with the acquisition of Eleven Gaming.  The next acquisition we had announced was ALL4ONE gaming being taken over by "Its Gosu eSports".  Good luck to each of them in the future.  Really, the last bit of team news that we have is a big one as FXOpen has announced a new team member in a player named FXOz.  Who is he you ask?  Only the Korean Twilight recently from the team fou.  Is this the first in recent days of talk about Koreans jumping over to Foreign teams?  It could be.

In tournament news we had Week 6 in the EG Master's Cup.  The results for this week were:
Mouz over Fnatic 3-2, Sixjax over Dignitas 3-1, EG over MYM 3-2, and Millennium over Complexity 3-1.

Also today we had the first playoff matches for the final spots in the NASL championship bracket.  The first matchup today were oGs.Zenio taking on Sixjax.DDE with Zenio taking the series 2-1.  The next match was EG.Idra facing off with Mouz.Mana and Idra took that series 2-0.  Now Idra and Zenio face off for the bracket slot and the winner of that matchup was oGs.Zenio.  That is correct.  Idra will not be in the championships unless he wins the NASL open tournament.

In other tourney action this week we had the first week of play in the iCCup Korean Weekly.  This is a weekly showdown with tons of players in Korea facing off for a small prize pool.  The top winners from each week will advance to a larger tourney.  The finals for this week were NSHS.Tassadar facing off with TSL.Alive in a bo7 and Alive took the series 4-1.  Tune in next Monday and Tuesday to iicuptv for the second week of action.

In other things to look out for, we have DreamHack coming up this weekend with 5 streams of content.  Day9 and Apollo will be casting the main championship matchups with assistance from other stations such as TotalBiscuit and RageQuittv.  This event will be exciting as a ton of the top players from around the world will be there.

Also announced is the start of IPLtv which will be casting content such as games and interviews every weekday night at 5PM PST.  So much content!  On top of that, I am adding to this blog post the recently release video of the top 10 plays from MLG Columbus, so check that out to relive some excellent moments.

Well, I think that is all that I will give you tonight.  I had a couple of other talking points, but we need to wrap this up.  Don't miss any of the action, but if you do you can find it here the next morning at SC2NewSCast.com.
