StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Thursday, June 16th

Hello again everybody, I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft2 NewSCast for Thursday, June 16th.

Well not nearly as much news coming today as yesterday, so let us start with the Playoffs in the NASL.  The winner of this bracket will go on to face JulyZerg in the Championships coming up next month.  The first match was oGs.Nada taking on TT1.  TT1 ended up falling 2-1 to the Brood War master.  The second match was Morrow going up against Socke and in this one Morrow dominated Socke 2-0.  This set up the match of Nada vs. Morrow. We all were hoping for a Nada victory to set up an awesome Nada vs. July matchup, but in the end Morrow took the series 2-1.  Congratulations to Morrow and we will see him in California.
In tomorrow's playoff matchups in the NASL we will have Ace taking on BratOK and Fenix taking on HasuObs.  Tune in to nasl.tv at 6PM PST for those matches.

World Cyber Games has announced a LAN event in New York this weekend with a tournament as well as a DreamHack viewing party.  If you are in the NY area this weekend, make sure to check that out.

In team news we had team Alternate Attax add a new player to their roster in Delphi, a strong Zerg player from Germany.  This adds to the team consisting of Darkforce, Mardow, and Socke.  Good luck to them with their new teammate.

Speaking of DreamHack, they have released a pretty detailed stream schedule for this weekend.  The streams begin early Saturday morning at I believe 12:45 PST with matchups such as Tyler v. Strelok, Ret vs. Jimpo, and Naniwa v. Moman.  The second set of matches includes Tyler going up against his teammate Ret and Socke taking on Morrow.  Then for the second half of the day we will have players like Idra, MC, Naama, and Adelscott going head to head.  Tune into one of the many casts for some awesome SC2 action.

Well, that is about all that we have for you tonight.  Don't miss any of the action, but if you do you can find it here the next morning at SC2NewSCast.com.
