StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Friday, June 10th

Here we go everyone.  I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Friday, June 10th.

We are going to start off with GSL Super Tournament Round of 8 action from early this morning.  First in the 2 bo5 series's we had the surging MMA taking on his teammate Ryung.  MMA has been tearing through everyone and Boxer's protege continued his tear as he takes down Ryung 3-1.  The second match was MarineKing showing the world that he is ready to win a championship as he takes down TheBest 3-0. We also have the results for ro8 day 2 here as Polt looked almost unstoppable as he took down Alicia 3-0.  In the last round of 8 match we had Line taking on Top and Top comes out with the win in the ace match 3-2.

Also tonight we had the final week of play in the NASL for Division 3.  There was not much on the line as for championship spots, but here we go with the results:
First we started off with the make-up match between Haypro and DDE with Haypro looking good in the win.  With Haypro showing a good standing at MLG and this, it is looking like his slump may be over.  The next match was EG.Axslav taking on oGs.Nada.  After some strong multitasking in taking game 1, Axslav falls to the strength of Nada in game 2 and 3.  To follow that up we had Slush taking on Strelok and Slush has fallen 2-1.  The next match was Naniwa rolling over Haypro 2-0.  After that was DDE taking it out on KawaiiRice 2-0 and the last match of the night was Moonglade taking the series over Squirtle 2-1.  Here are the overall results for the division:
Strelok takes the division at 8-1
Squirtle also qualifies for the championships at 7-2
Naniwa: 6-2
Nada: 6-3
DDE: 5-4
Axslav: 4-5
Slush: 3-6
Moonglade: 3-6
KawaiiRice: 2-7
and Haypro coming it at 2-7 as well.
Congratulations to Strelok and Squirtle in their division victories.

In other news, one of our favorite players, Liquid'TLO has announced that he is going to be going on another hiatus due to his issues with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  He will quit playing for a bit to rest his hands and wrists, but has said he still want to produce content during this time.  It appears that it may be casts and other fun stuff, so good luck to TLO on his recovery.

Also announced is another episode of "TL Attack" this weekend and this time it is featuring one of the most fun players out there, ROOT.Catz.  Let's hope for some fun proxy antics against noobs.  To tune into that, go to teamliquid.net.  It will be on Sunday at 11AM PST.

Well, that's all the news that we have for you tonight.  Don't miss any of the action, but if you do you can find it here the next morning at SC2NewSCast.com.
