StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Friday, June 3rd

Alright everyone, I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Friday, June 3rd.

A ton of action with MLG going on, so let's get to it:
MLG Day 1 happened tonight.  The 2 streams were just packed with action.  Since there was so much content, I will just go through the results of pool play quickly:
Group A:
Naniwa takes Gretorp 2-0, Drewbie takes Slush 2-1, Slush takes Gretorp 2-0, Slush takes Naniwa 2-1, Moon takes Gretorp 2-0, Moon takes Drewbie 2-1, and Naniwa takes Moon 2-0.
Group B:
Sheth takes Kiwikaki 2-1, Sjow takes Moonan 2-1, Sheth takes Moonan 2-1, Sheth takes Sjow 2-1, MMA takes Sjow 2-1, MMA takes Moonan 2-0, and MMA takes Kiwikaki 2-0.
Group C:
Tyler takes Select 2-1, Idra takes Ret 2-0, Ret takes Select 2-0, Idra takes Select 2-0, MC takes Tyler 2-1, MC takes Ret 2-0, and Idra, not dropping a game in day 1 takes MC 2-0.
Group D:
Machine takes Incontrol 2-0, Incontrol takes Haypro 2-1, TLO takes Machine 2-1, Haypro takes Machine 2-1, Losira takes Haypro 2-1, Losira takes TLO 2-0, and Losira took Incontrol 2-1.

Now, there are a ton of players in Open bracket play.  There are far too many matches to rattle off the results here, but here are the matchups coming up after 4 rounds today:
Cruncher vs Axslav, Major vs. Bonkarooni, Agh vs. PokeBunny, Catz vs. July, Thorzain vs. SixShadow, KawaiiRice vs. Namchir, Morrow vs. Slog, and Fenix vs. Vibe.
Some big names that lost in the open bracket so far include:
StrifeCro, Cocoa, DDE, Major, ThisIsJimmy, Stalife, Attero, TT1, QXC, and Skew.

Also we had NASL week 8 division 3 play tonight.  The results from that league are as follows:
Axslav took down Slush 2-0, then Naniwa got the walkover 2-0 victory over Moonglade, then another walkover as DDE got the win over Haypro.  To follow those up we had Strelok take the series 2-0 over KawaiiRice, and finally the Koreans battles as Nada fell to Squirtle 2-1.  Here are the division standings after 8 weeks of play:
Squirtle:7 wins
Strelok: 6 wins
Nada: 5 wins
Naniwa: 5 wins
Axslav: 5 wins
DDE: 4 wins
Slush: 3 wins
Moonglade: 2 wins
KawaiiRice: 2 wins
and finally Haypro at 1 win.
