NewSCast for Wednesday, June 1st

Here we go everyone, I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Wednesday, June 1st.

Tonight we are starting with GSL Super Tournament, ro32 action that happened early this morning.  First we had Ganzi upset MVP in a 2-1 victory.  After that was SuperNova falling to the rising star, MMA 2-1.  The next match was Ryung taking down Violet 2-1, and for the premeir match of the evning we had Bomber taking on NesTea.  Now Bomber is one of the new favorites, but NesTea played like the GSL Champion that he is and took down Bomber 2-0.

Coming up tonight in GSL play we will have Keen vs.JookTo, Tester vs. TheBest, Genius vs. Min, and HongUn vs. Revivial.  This is a stacked line up tonight, so check those games out over at gomtv.net.

In NASL play we had week 8, Division 1.  It is coming down to the wire for a lot of these players.  Some are fighting for the top 2 in the divisions while others are fighting just to be allowed to stay in the NASL for next season.  Here are the results from tonight:

First we had an awesome matchup between TheLittleOne and Fenix with Fenix taking the series 2-1.  To follow that up we had Sheth taking on Vibe, and although Vibe has looked good in the last couple of weeks, Sheth has been dominate and was dominating tonight as he took down Vibe 2-0.  The next match was the top vs. the bottom as Morrow took on Grubby.  Grubby, who was winless, is still winless as he fell 2-1 to the awesome macro of Morrow.  Next we had various stream issues with NASL, but the games were casted and Artosis lost in another walkover as he is still having internet issues and in an AMAZING series Moon took down Kiwikaki 2-0.  I definitely recommend checking that series out.

In EG Master's Cup play we had Team Dignitas taking on Sixjax gaming with Sixjax advancing forward 3-2 in the Ace match.

In other news, MLG Columbus is coming up this weekend and 4 Koreans were flying in, but 1, Bomber appears to have missed his flight and will not make it to MLG.  There was some issue with his passport and was not allowed to board the flight.  This is too bad as Bomber is a fan favorite, but MLG will go on with a pinch hitter, oGs.MC will be taking his spot.  Also going to MLG will be ST.July as he won the CSN "Clash of the Houses" event.  Congrats to them and I hope we see some great games.

In other news, coming up in June we have the Prodigy Team Star League featuring a good amount of top level players including Destiny, Spanishiwa, PokeBunny, Sheth, Catz, and Select, so look forward to that tournament.  You can find more information over at ptsl.tv.
