Oh my oh my and here we are again, I am TheAmazombie and this is your SC2 NewSCast for Sunday, May 15th.
We start off with what was expected to be amazing bo7 series between Naniwa and ThorZain in a PvT for 15 grand and the title of TSL3 champion. As promised, this was an epic series that focused on tight build orders, tactical prowess, and most importantly brilliant micro and unit control as wonderfully described by the casters Chill and Day[9]. This series was so exciting for the razor-thin line that both players were playing on at all times. I definitely recommend checking those out at teamliquid.net. So here were the results:
ThorZain took game 1 on Metalopolis. Naniwa came back for game 2 on Crevasse. Then we had Naniwa take the commanding lead by winning games 3 and 4 on Shakuras Plateau and Terminus. With ThorZain down 3-1, we saw a resurgence as he was able to take games 5 and 6 on Xel'naga Caverns and Crossfire.
With the series tied up the players moved on to game 7 on Tal'darim Altar. Both players did an early expo, Naniwa rushed for his 2 Collosus timing, pushed, and with brilliant control ThorZain held it back and was able to counter push. Both players then took their thirds and built up beautiful armies that were vying for position by the watchtower. Finally the engagement came and the new TSL3 champion is...
Mouz.ThorZain!
