NewSCast for Monday, May 16th

Hello again everyone, I am TheAmazombie, and this is the SC2 NewSCast for Monday, May 16th.

Not too much going on today.  We did have IPL Qualifier matches earlier today with 5 matches going on.  First we had our favorite White-Ra tear through PokeBunny 2-0.
Next was Lalush going 2-0 against Nadagast.  The third match was ROOT.Drewbie falling to sixjax.DDE 2-1.  Following that up was Brat_OK taking down DesRow 2-1.
The final match tonight was the huge upset as Flashback went 2-1 against the mighty Liquid'TLO.
All of today's winners are now qualified for IPL season 2.  Follow all of the action at ign.com/ipl.

Also today we had EG Master's Cup Week 2 as Mousesports went up against Sixjax and I have to say it was an overall dominating performance from Mousesports to move on to the next round of that series.

We also have the first day of the GSLT round of 8.  The teams playing were Slayers vs. Zenex and fOU taking on The SCV Life.  For the first match we had SLayers dominating with a clean sweep of Zenex.  Then in the second series we had fOU take down TSL 4-3.  Later Tonight/Tomorrow morning, depending on where you are we have day 2 of the round of 8.  The matches are MVP vs. Prime and oGs vs. StarTale.  You can find those matches as always at gomtv.net.

Also we had another major announcement from MLG today as they will give us not one, but two streams for the Columbus event with different sets of matches on them.  To go along with that, we will have the pleasure of having the Casting Archon themselves at the event, Tasteless and Artosis.  Sounds exciting, so check that out at majorleaguegaming.com.
