NewSCast for 9-Nov-11

Here we go again everyone.  I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Wednesday, November 9th.

Well, we will start with the GSL from the last couple of nights.  First off, we had day 1 in the GSL Code A "Getaway Days."  The results were Keen over Revival 2-0, YuGiHo over MinSeok 2-1, Hero over CrazyMoving 2-1, asd over GuineaPig 2-0, Brown over SuperStar 2-0, Curious over TheSTC 2-1, Boxer over Dream 2-0, and Parting over TOP 2-1.

In Code S from the last few nights we had Group G with SangHo and Jjakji advancing, Virus 3rd, and SuperNova 4th.  Then we had Group C with Huk and Puzzle advancing, July 3rd and Clide 4th.  Next we had Group E with Happy and GuMiHo advancing, DRG 3rd, and Bomber 4th.  Finally, we had Group F play with Coca and Oz advancing, Taeja 3rd, and Nada taking 4th.

We also had Week 8, Division 1 in the NASL with DeMuslim over Cruncher 2-1 and Sheth getting the walkover from White-Ra.  The standings for this division after 8 weeks of play are:
Hero 7-0, DemMuslim 6-1, Sheth 4-3, Cruncher 3-4, Vibe 2-5, Lowely 2-5, Fenix 2-5, and White-Ra 2-5.  Hero and DeMuslim take the division and will be at NASL Finals.

We also had the ro8 in the GSL Arena of Legends tournament.  The results for tonight were Ganzi over Curious 2-1 and BboongBboong over NesTea 2-0.

In other news we have the announcement that tgun, formally of FXO, has signed with It's Gosu with players like DDE, HwangSin, and Vibe.

Also announced today are the finalists in the TL MapMaking contest.  The final maps are TPW Burning Altar, ESV Cloud Kingdom, ESV Daggoth Crater, Haven's Lagoon, TPW Ohana, ESV Sanctuary, and LoS Twilight Peaks.  Congrats to all the finalists.  All maps are up on NA, SEA, and EU servers, so check them out as one might soon be a ladder map.
