Here we go again everyone, I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Saturday, October 15th.
Well, I am going to quickly run down the results from the last 2 days in the NASL as I missed yesterday's matches. From Friday we had Sjow over HwangSin 2-1, Jinro over SoftBall 2-0, and Morrow over Idra 2-1. Saturday we had NightEnd over Inka 2-0, Moonglade over Select 2-0, and Ret over InControl 2-1.
Now onto action in MLG Orlando. Group A finished with MarineKing taking the group 4-1, tied with Idra, but since he lost the head to head, MKP take the group. Then there was Haypro at 3-2, Boxer 2-3, TLO 1-4, and Drewbie 1-4. In group B we had Bomber 4-1, Puma 4-1, Sase 4-1, Sheth 2-3, Kiwikaki 1-4, and InControl 0-5. In group C we had TheSTC at 5-0, Ret at 3-2, HongUn at 3-2, Rain at 2-3, Machine 1-4, and Slush 1-4. In group D we had Huk at 4-1, July 4-1, MC 3-2, Hero 3-2, Ddoro 1-4, and Tyler at 0-5. The championship bracket is MarineKing vs. Huk and Bomber vs. TheSTC.
Notable players still in the championship lower bracket are Kiwikaki, Stephano, Machine, Tyler, Ddoro, Slush, TLO, Polt, and all the other players from group play.
In competing action, we had Day 3 at IEM New York where the finals are set between DongRaeGu and none other than FruitDealer himself. Could FD be on an upswing? We will wait and see.
