Here we go again everyone. I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewS Cast for Saturday, October 1st.
We will start tonight with the NASL Division 4, Week 3 play. The maps for today were Dual Sight, Bel'Shir Beach, and Shattered Temple. The results were Sen over MoonGlade 2-1, Strelok over NightEnd 2-1, and Ret over Select 2-1. The standings after 3 weeks are:
Ret 3-0, Strelok 3-0, Sen 2-1, Inka 1-1, Select 1-2, Moonglade 0-2, NightEnd 0-2, and Incontrol 0-2.
We also had Day 2 in IEM China. The groups today were groups C and D with the top 2 from each group advancing. In group C we had Elfi take it 3-0, Idra second at 1-2, Jim 1-2 and Jinro 1-2. In group D we had Revival 3-0, Strelok 2-1, Way 1-2, and iaguz at 0-3.
One of the most exciting pieces of news though was the finals in the GSL Arena of Legends with MarineKIng taking on DRG in a bo7 series. In the end the Kong himself, MKP, finally took a huge victory over DRG 4-1. Congrats to MKP!
