Here we go again everyone. I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewS Cast for Saturday, August 20th.
Well, some good action coming down the pipe today. First we will start with the semifinals matchups over at IEM GamesCon in Germany. The first match was MC vs. Mana PvP. Mana, who has been very strong in the last few weeks ended up being owned by the legendary PvP of MC 3-0. In the other match, we had Puma, the strong Terran that we have not seen much of since his win over MC at NASL, taking on Socke in a TvP. Puma, known as one of the strongest Terrans in the world showed why as he handled Socke 3-0. This sets up a finals that is a rematch of those NASL finals between Puma and MC. Last time Puma took the series 4-3, so let's see tomorrow who wants this win more.
Also today we had TL TeamSpeak Open #21. The finals this week were TSL.Heart taking on EG.Idra and in the end Idra fell 3-2. 3rd and fourth place went to two kind of surprising players in FXOtgun and Desrow. Congrats to all of the players.
In other news, the gaming team WinFakt, a very strong Call of Duty and Counter Strike gaming team, has announced their first signing of a StarCraft 2 player. That player is Fuzer and it marks another gaming team transitioning into having an SC2 roster. Congrats and good luck to them.
