StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Saturday, August 6th

Here we go again everyone, I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewS Cast for Saturday, August 6th.

We will start today with action in the Blizzard EU Invitational Day 1.  This is a double elimination tourney starting with the ro8.  Here are the first round results:
Ro8:  Naniwa over Strelok 2-1, Ret over Tarson 2-1, Thorzain over White-Ra 2-0, and Socke over Nerchio 2-0.  Next we have loser's bracket round 1 with Nerchio over White-Ra 2-0, and Tarson over Strelok 2-0.   The next round was the Winner's round 4 with Thorzain over Socke 2-0 and Ret over Naniwa 2-1.  The final round of the day was Loser's bracket round 2 with Tarson over Socke 2-1 and Naniwa over Nerchio 2-0.  The final few rounds will be played tomorrow.

Also today we had some winner's bracket play in the IPL Season 2.  The matches tonight were Idra tearing through Moonan 2-0.  With Mana looking very strong in the next match, he took out his teammate Thorzain 2-0.  The third match of the night was Strelok taking down the Panzer General Goody 2-1.  For the final match of the night we had 2 fast games and 1 long match as White-Ra showed why he is one of the best long-game Protosses in the world.  He took down Select 2-1.
