NewSCast for Thursday, May 12th

I want to start by saying that this post was up this morning, but due to issues with Blogger, I have not been able to publish until now.  I am also adding an embedded player for the podcast, make it easier to listen.  Thanks!

Here we go, I am TheAmazombie, and this is the NewSCast for Thursday, May 12th.
Let us start with the IPL season 2 qualifier.  We had Millennium.DieStar going up against Fnatic.TT1 with DieStar taking the series convincingly 3-0 Next we had EG.LZGamer going against Mill.Tarson with the Millennium member again looking sharp in the 3-0 victory. The last match of the day was Sixjax.Vibe against Mouz.Hasuobs and Vibe looking good in the 3-1 win. Tomorrow is day 2 of the season 2 qualifiers at 3PM PST time.  You can check out those match ups at ign.com/ipl.

Now here are the scores from the NASL with Division 2 play on the maps Typhon Peaks, Xel'naga Caverns, and Shattered Temple. First we had Dignitas.Sjow against CyberNation.Moman with the Frenchman falling 2-1. Next was EG.iNControl vs. Fnatic.TT1 and TT1 dominated that series 2-0. We then had Complexity's Cruncher taking on oGs.Ensnare and somehow Cruncher won that series 2-0. The fourth match of the night was aTn.Darkforce against the special tactics of the fan favorite White-Ra.  Darkforce looked good but could not stand up to White-Ra falling 2-0. The final match was FXO.qxc against the God of War Startale.July with July tearing into QXC 2-1.
The current standings for the NASL Division 2 are:
White-Ra: 4-1
July: 4-1
Sjow: 3-2 TT1: 3-2
Darkforce: 3-2
Incontrol: 3-2
Cruncher: 2-3
Ensnare: 2-3
Moman: 1-4
and QXC: 0-5

In team news the Korean team IM "Incredible Miracle", who were noticeably left out of the team battles of the GSL, have announced a new sponsorship with Coca-Cola

Everyone be ready because on Friday at 5PM PST there will be a special State of The Game to talk about the GSL code S finals.  Find that at itmejp.com. As for the GSL Code S finals, those will start at 11:10 PST.  The match up is a bo7 between oGs.Inca and IM.Nestea and as always those games will be casted by Tasteless and Artosis over at gomtv.net.
The other announcement today was the Cyber Sports "Clash of the Houses".  This is an 8-player bracket consisting of top Koreans, each one representing their clan.  The winner gets an all-expense paid trip to MLG Columbus.  Those will be broadcasted starting May 31st.  Check them out at Cyber Sports Network.
