NewSCast for 19-Nov-11

Here we go again.  I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Saturday, November 19th, the second day of action over at the MLG National Championships.

Well, before we get into MLG, let's run down the overshadowed games in the NASL Semi-Open.  In the Winner's Bracket we had Gatored over Lost 2-1 and Thorzain over Catz 2-1.  In the lower bracket we had CrazyMoving over Major 2-0 and then CrazyMoving over Catz 2-0.

Now onto the big action over at MLG Providence.  Wow, some amazing matches today which was all shadowed by the rematch series of Naniwa and NesTea from the day before.  With trash-talking and BM, Naniwa took down NesTea in 2-1 convincing fashion.  Other matches from the winner's bracket include Huk over Hero 2-0, MC over Idra 2-0, and DRG over MMA 2-0.
The match ups for tomorrow, championship Sunday include Huk vs. Naniwa and MC vs. DRG in the upper bracket.  Down in the lower bracket we will have Rain vs. MarineKing, Haypro vs. Illusion, Boxer vs. Artist, and Puma vs. Losira.
Other players still alive in the lower bracket are Sjow, Select, Leenock, Bomber, MVP, Kiwikaki, Slush, Ret, Hero, NesTea, MMA, and Idra.

NewSCast for 18-Nov-11

Here we go again everyone.  I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Friday, November 18th, the start of MLG National Championships.

Well, before we get into all of the action over at MLG, we will start with the NASL Semi-Open action from today.  The matches were Thorzain over Uhen 2-0, Gatored over LiveZerg 2-0, Catz over Skit 2-0, Lost over CrazyMoving 2-0, and in Loser's bracket play we had Major over LiveZerg 2-1.

Okay, now onto MLG.  First we had the MLG Global Invitational.  In the Semi-Finals we had Idra almost beating NesTea but falling to that cool drink 2-1.  The other match was Naniwa taking down MVP 2-1 setting up a finals where Naniwa took the championships from NesTea 2-1.
Now, onto the Open Bracket play.  I will not run down all the matches, but here are the semifinals matchups for each bracket in the Winner's Round which will be played tomorrow:
Major vs. Sheth, Hero vs. Keen, sC vs. Losira, MVP vs. Shew, Spanishiwa vs. TLO, Machine vs. NesTea, Leenock vs. Gatored, and State vs. HeavOnEarth.  Now, down in the loser's bracket notable players include:
syckness, Artist, Spades, Jinro, Drewbie, Axslav, Violet, Ostojiy, DDE, Destiny, LzGamer, Vibe, ThisIsJimmy, PainUser, Attero, KawaiiRice, Gretorp, Catz, DarkCell, MarineKing, Ganzi, Oz, Puzzle, Tyler, InControl, wbc, and StrifeCro.  Tomorrow we will see who makes it into the championship bracket.

NewSCast for 17-Nov-11

Here we go again everyone.  I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Thursday, November 17th.

Well, here we are again with the calm before the storm that is MLG Providence National Championships for 2011.  Not a ton of news or action as everyone is gearing up for what may turn out to be the biggest weekend in SC2 ESPORTS to date.  We did have some play in the NASL Semi-Open tourney.  The matches for today were all loser's bracket action as Drewbie took out Stephano 2-1, Loner took down Zelniq 2-0, Major took out Drewbie 2-1, Attero beat Grubby 2-0, and Pokebunny took out Mentalist 2-1.

In other news Vile Gaming has announced that they have signed a player named "Chance" who will be at MLG in the Open bracket.  They are also hinting at another "Korean" announcement coming soon.
