Here we go again everyone. I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Saturday, November 5th.
Well, we start tonight with NASL action play from Division 4, Week 7. The match ups for tonight were Sen over Inka 2-0, Select over Strelok 2-0, NightEnd over InControl 2-1, and finally we had Ret over MoonGlade 2-0. The standings for this division after 7 weeks are play are:
Strelok 5-1, Sen 5-1, Ret 5-2, Select 4-3, MoonGlade 3-3, NightEnd 2-4, Inka 1-5, and InControl bringing it in at 0-6.
We also had the finals in the ASUS ROG Invitational where Idra took the tournament from Select 4-2.
We also had Group D in the GomTV Arena of Legends tourney. The group tonight consisted of Coca, Sage, Bomber, BboongBboong, and Oz. The winners and players to advance tonight are Oz and BboongBboong.
Well, in other news we have the announcement that Mousesports has signed a 14-year old German player formally known as HeroMarine who will be playing for Mouz under the name Marine. Also in the team side of things we have the announcement from the team eSahara that they have signed European players Naama and Satiini. Naama was a very strong player about a year ago but has since dropped off the scene quite a bit. Let's hope he can get back in form.

NewSCast for 29-Oct-11

Well, we will start tonight with Division 4 action over in the NASL. First we had Strelok over Inka 2-0. Next was Sen over Ret 2-1. Following that up was Select over NightEnd 2-1, and the final match of the night was NMoonGlade over InControl 2-0. The standings for this division after 6 weeks of play are:
Strelok 5-0, Sen 4-1, Ret 4-2, MoonGlade 3-2, Select 3-3, NightEnd 1-4, Inka 1-4, and InControl 0-5.
In other news we have the announcement that Sleep and Check have left their teams in Korea. Sleep stated that he wants to focus on finding a foreign team to play for and Check has not made an announcement but did confirm on twitter that he has left Prime.

NewSCast for 15-Oct-11 - No MP3 today
Here we go again everyone, I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Saturday, October 15th.
Well, I am going to quickly run down the results from the last 2 days in the NASL as I missed yesterday's matches. From Friday we had Sjow over HwangSin 2-1, Jinro over SoftBall 2-0, and Morrow over Idra 2-1. Saturday we had NightEnd over Inka 2-0, Moonglade over Select 2-0, and Ret over InControl 2-1.
Now onto action in MLG Orlando. Group A finished with MarineKing taking the group 4-1, tied with Idra, but since he lost the head to head, MKP take the group. Then there was Haypro at 3-2, Boxer 2-3, TLO 1-4, and Drewbie 1-4. In group B we had Bomber 4-1, Puma 4-1, Sase 4-1, Sheth 2-3, Kiwikaki 1-4, and InControl 0-5. In group C we had TheSTC at 5-0, Ret at 3-2, HongUn at 3-2, Rain at 2-3, Machine 1-4, and Slush 1-4. In group D we had Huk at 4-1, July 4-1, MC 3-2, Hero 3-2, Ddoro 1-4, and Tyler at 0-5. The championship bracket is MarineKing vs. Huk and Bomber vs. TheSTC.
Notable players still in the championship lower bracket are Kiwikaki, Stephano, Machine, Tyler, Ddoro, Slush, TLO, Polt, and all the other players from group play.
In competing action, we had Day 3 at IEM New York where the finals are set between DongRaeGu and none other than FruitDealer himself. Could FD be on an upswing? We will wait and see.

NewSCast for 8-Oct-11
Here we go again everyone, I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Saturday, October 8th.
Well, more action in the IPL3 today over in Atlantic City. We had the the ro32 and some of the ro16 played tonight. I will give the the results from the ro16 so far:
First we had Ret over aLive 2-1, then Lucky over Ryung 2-1. Next was Puma over White-Ra 2-0 and MMA over Sleep 2-0. The final match played was TheSTC over Select 2-0. In the ro16 we still have Thozain vs. Idra, Violet vs. Stephano, and Huk vs. Inori to come.
We also had division 4 play over in the NASL season 2. The maps for tonight were Terminus, Dual Sight, and Bel'shir Beach. First we had Moonglade taking down Inka 2-0, Sen beat NightEnd 2-1, Strelok took down Ret 2-0, and Select took down InControl 2-0. The results after 4 weeks of play are:
Strelok 4-0, Ret 3-1, Sen 3-1, Select 2-2, Moonglade 1-2, Inka 1-2, NightEnd 0-3, and InControl 0-3.

NewSCast for 1-Oct-11

We will start tonight with the NASL Division 4, Week 3 play. The maps for today were Dual Sight, Bel'Shir Beach, and Shattered Temple. The results were Sen over MoonGlade 2-1, Strelok over NightEnd 2-1, and Ret over Select 2-1. The standings after 3 weeks are:
Ret 3-0, Strelok 3-0, Sen 2-1, Inka 1-1, Select 1-2, Moonglade 0-2, NightEnd 0-2, and Incontrol 0-2.
We also had Day 2 in IEM China. The groups today were groups C and D with the top 2 from each group advancing. In group C we had Elfi take it 3-0, Idra second at 1-2, Jim 1-2 and Jinro 1-2. In group D we had Revival 3-0, Strelok 2-1, Way 1-2, and iaguz at 0-3.
One of the most exciting pieces of news though was the finals in the GSL Arena of Legends with MarineKIng taking on DRG in a bo7 series. In the end the Kong himself, MKP, finally took a huge victory over DRG 4-1. Congrats to MKP!

StarCraft 2 NewSCast for Saturday, September 17th
Here we go again everyone. I am TheAmazombie and this is your StarCraft 2 NewS Cast for Saturday, September 17th.
Well, let's start with the NASL Week 1, Division 4 play. The maps for today were The Shattered Temple, Xel'naga Caverns, and Crevasse. The first match up of the night was Ret taking on Inka and in two very 1-sided games, Ret showed himself as a top tier player as he took the series 2-0. The next match was the premier match of the week as Sen falling to Select 2-0. The final match of the night was Strelok making simple work of InControl 2-0.
The other big action of today was the DreamHack Valencia Invitational where 8 top players took each on for $15,000 bucks. In the round of 8 we had Thorzain over Huk 2-1, Hero over Idra 2-0, Rain over Naniwa 2-0, and DongRaeGu over Lucifron 2-0. In the round of 4 we had Thorzain over Hero 2-0 and DongRaeGu over Rain 2-0. The finals we had DongRaeGu over Thorzain 3-2 to take the championship.
Today we also had the GSL Arena of Legends with group B play. Just like last night, we had a series of 2-0 matches as MarineKing took down Trickster, Losira took down Trickster, and MarineKing took down Losira which means that MarineKing advances to the championship bracket.
Also played today was the TL TeamSpeak Open. The finals were Yong Over Ranged 2-0 with 3rd/4th going to LuckyFool and Sync`.
